## What this is

Ellen Cassidy built The Loophole methodology over 35,000+ hours of LSAT work, and thousands of students have used it to transform their scores. Loophole Online is that methodology as a complete online platform: day-by-day study plans, video instruction, proprietary drills, and review tooling, covering both Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

Most LSAT prep platforms stop at the Learn phase — question banks and video explanations. Loophole Online is the only platform that continues into Translation, Accuracy, Speed, and Perform, with tools such as Camo review, the Wrong Answer Journal, and CLIR answer keys.

## Results

- **35,000+** — Hours of LSAT Experience
- **171** — Average Score (among tutoring students who reported their scores)
- **+20 pts** — Average Score Improvement (among tutoring students who reported their scores)
- **95%** — Score 160+ (among tutoring students who reported their scores)

Reported figures cover tutoring students who reported their scores. Among that group, 67% scored 170+ and 95% scored 160+.

## The method

- **The Book Teaches the Foundation** — The Loophole gives you the conceptual framework — how to read arguments, spot the loophole, and think like the test makers.
- **The Platform Puts It to Work** — 87 proprietary workouts, 400+ training videos, and a 5-stage prep map turn methodology into mastery.
- **The Results Speak** — Students don't just learn tricks they forget. They build skills that raise their score — and stay with them for life.

The Loophole in LSAT Logical Reasoning introduced a different approach: instead of memorizing question types and applying tricks, you learn to actually understand what you are reading. Loophole Online takes everything in the book and goes further, covering both Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

## The 5-stage prep map

Every student follows the same progression, from building a foundation to performing under pressure on test day.

1. **Learn** — Master the core LSAT frameworks. Understand every question type and my proprietary approaches to each one.
2. **Translate** — Learn to read the way the LSAT demands. Build the active reading and translation skills that unlock both LR and RC.
3. **Accuracy** — Eliminate the errors that cost you points. Identify whether you're battling impulse, misreads, or conceptual gaps — and fix each one.
4. **Speed** — Get faster without sacrificing accuracy. Master timing strategies and section management so you finish with confidence.
5. **Perform** — Simulate test day. Build the mental stamina and consistency to hit your goal score when it counts.

## What is inside the platform

- **87 Proprietary Workouts** — Not generic practice sets. Each workout is a proprietary exercise I developed through years of 1-on-1 tutoring — designed to feel like desirable objects, not homework.
- **400+ Video Lessons** — Organized into training blocks and mini-camps. Watch me break down every concept with the clarity that made The Loophole a phenomenon.
- **Camo Review System** — My proprietary review method. Wrong answers come back mixed with decoys — you can't just cross off the wrong one. It forces real understanding.
- **Tagged Question Database** — Every LSAT question, personally tagged by me. Filter by type, difficulty, and the CLIR framework. No other platform has this.
- **Wrong Answer Journal** — Looks like an email inbox. For every miss: write why you got it wrong and what you'll do differently. "Girl I don't know" sends it to The Island for daily review.
- **Performance Analytics** — Track your progress across every stage. See exactly where you're strong, where you're leaking points, and what to work on next.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is Loophole Online?

Loophole Online is the complete LSAT prep platform built on the Loophole method. Both LR and RC, 400+ video lessons, 87 workouts, 60 homework routines, a 5-stage prep map, and review tools like Camo and the Wrong Answer Journal that exist nowhere else.

### Do I need to read The Loophole book first?

No. Start wherever you are and the plan meets you there. The book is the foundational LR methodology and I reference it throughout, so it is worth keeping a copy nearby, but nothing waits on you finishing it.

### I already have The Loophole book. Is Loophole Online the same material?

No. Loophole Online picks up where the book left off. Of the five day-by-day study plans on your My Plan page, only the first covers Loophole book territory; everything from the RC plan onward is material the book doesn't touch. Even when a video references a topic from the book, it's not a recap. I can say a lot more in a five-minute video than I can write on a single page, so the videos take each topic into more advanced concepts. And the Workouts and Routines are completely separate from the book. If you've read the book, the platform is where you go deeper, not where you start over.

### Can I do the course if I've already read The Loophole?

Absolutely. If you've already read the book, you'll start on the Foundation Plan, which takes you through the whole course on its own, day by day, in the order I'd put you in myself. The videos and bootcamps are built to pick up where the book left off, so you're not rereading what you already know, you're taking each concept further and getting it into muscle memory. And if you'd like to go back through the book as you go, you can switch on the Tandem Plan, a 21-day schedule that pairs each day's reading with the matching lessons, drills, and Camo review. Either way, you just follow the day-by-day schedule and I'll guide you all the way to test day.

### How is this different from other LSAT prep platforms?

Most platforms are a question bank with video explanations. That is the Learn phase, and it is where they stop. Loophole Online teaches a different way to read the test, then takes you through Translation, Accuracy, Speed, and Perform, with tools like Camo Review and CLIR answer keys you will not find anywhere else.

### How much does it cost?

Plans start at $69.99 every 4 weeks. Book readers also get a free Book Portal tier.

### Can I just sign up directly?

Yes! You can sign up any time at https://new.theloophole.com/sign-up and get instant access to the full platform. Already have an account? You can sign in at https://new.theloophole.com/sign-in.

### Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues through the end of your current paid period — no partial refunds, but you won't lose any time you've already paid for. Cancellation via account settings takes effect right away. Note that if you email to cancel it will take a little longer to go through, so it's not your best bet if your renewal is coming up soon.

### What LSAT sections does it cover?

Both Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. The book was mostly LR. The platform covers RC just as deeply.

### Does Loophole Online work with LSAT accommodations?

Yes, absolutely. Every timed exercise on the platform runs on your accommodated time, not just the standard 35 minutes. Sections and full practice tests all have one-tap presets for 35, 53, and 70 minutes, and you can type in a custom time for any other accommodation you've been approved for. You can also save your test day timing in Account Settings, so every PT loads with your accommodated time already set instead of you resetting it each time. And your analytics are measured against your own accommodated time and your own past performance, never against a standard-time curve, so your pacing data reflects your test day.

### Where can I reference real LSAT questions or PTs?

Throughout the platform, I'll point you to specific real LSAT questions and sections. Anywhere you see something like PT102.S3.Q1, that's a citation. It reads as Practice Test 102, Section 3, Question 1. To pull up that question, head to LawHub (https://app.lawhub.org/): go to LSAT Prep, open the Full Tests tab, and find “The Official LSAT PrepTest 102.” Start a new test, navigate to Section 3, and go to Question 1. Same thing when you're completing a Workout. Pick which LSAT section to do the Workout on, and open it in LawHub the same way. Section citations look like PT145.S4, which is Practice Test 145, Section 4. In LawHub go to LSAT Prep, Full Tests, open PT 145, then start Section 4. P.S. I'm also working on a feature that will let you take PTs natively inside Loophole Online — stay tuned, it's coming very soon!

### Do I need LawHub to use Loophole Online?

Yes, you'll need a LawHub Advantage subscription (https://www.lawhub.org/LawHubAdvantage). That's where the official LSAT content lives, so you'll use it to look up question citations referenced in Loophole Online and to pull up full sections for Workouts and Routines.
